sour cream cornbread

2 T butter
1 egg
3/4 c yellow corn meal
1/4 c sugar
1/2 t baking soda
1 c sour cream
1/4 c milk
1 c all-purpose flour
2 t baking powder
1/2 t salt

Grease 9 inch square pan. Melt butter. 
Put sour cream and milk in medium size bowl. 
Add egg and butter. Stir mixture until well combined. 
Add the rest of the ingredients. Stir until dry 
ingredients are just moistened and mixture is smooth. 
Spread mixture in pan. Bake at 375 degrees about 25 minutes.
